July has witnessed an intense musical activity across Catalonia, with Jorquera pianos taking part in many of the most remarkable moments of the cultural summer. From iconic concert halls to beaches turned into stages, our brand has once again supported major artists.
Below, we share some of the most outstanding concerts and collaborations we’ve had the honor to participate in. Each event was unique, but all shared the same essence: music as a shared experience.
Max Richter at Teatre Grec: minimalism between stone and sky
One of the most magical moments of the month took place at the Teatre Grec de Montjuïc, with composer-pianist Max Richter. His intimate and emotional music came to life in an open-air venue full of atmosphere.
The piano provided by Jorquera was essential in shaping that enveloping soundscape, balancing each texture with depth and poise.
Festival Castell de Peralada – Katia & Marielle Labèque: keyboard synergy
At the Festival Castell de Peralada, the famous piano duo Katia & Marielle Labèque delivered a concert blending virtuosity, modernity, and inimitable synergy. The two grand pianos from Jorquera supported their mix of classical and contemporary works, set against the castle’s majestic backdrop.
Clàssica a la Platja – “Mar i Cel”: symphony by the sea
The Clàssica a la Platja series transformed Somorrostro beach into a sea-facing stage to present the symphonic version of “Mar i Cel.” Presented by Teatre del Liceu, Dagoll Dagom, Palau de la Música, and Barcelona Obertura.
In front of over 30,000 attendees, Jorquera’s piano blended with the orchestra as a key harmonic backbone in this grand production, combining musical theater, opera, and cultural heritage.
Carles & Sofia Piano Duo and Solistes de Catalunya: musical finesse in Sant Vicenç de Montalt
We close this summer journey with an intimate and refined offering: the Carles & Sofia Piano Duo, together with the Solistes de Catalunya Orchestra, conducted by Juan Pablo Gómez, presented a curated and emotive repertoire.
The Jorquera piano added clarity, projection, and character to a performance that celebrated chamber music as a powerful, close experience.
