Jorquera Pianos is proud to present the third Hammerklavier International Piano Series concert of 2023, celebrating its 20th anniversary. The concert will be performed by acclaimed pianist Nikita Lukinov, who will delight us with a varied program including works by Domenico Scarlatti, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, Piotr Ilitx Txaikovski, and Modest Mussorgski.

About Nikita Lukinov
Nikita Lukinov is an internationally renowned pianist who has performed on prestigious stages such as Wigmore Hall (London), Kings Place (London), Fazioli Hall (Italy), St. Petersburg Music House, Moscow Conservatory, Vaduz Rathaussaal (Liechtenstein), among others. Lukinov is a disciple of the Russian piano school and has won numerous awards, including the First Prize at the Intercollegiate “Sheepdrove” Competition in the UK in 2021, the Governor’s Prize for the most outstanding recital in the RCS Piano Department in 2021, the Second Prize at the Franz Liszt Centre International Piano Competition in Spain in 2021, and the “Grand Prix Crown of Stars” at the Music and Stars Awards International Competition in 2021.
Lukinov’s musical education began at the age of six with Svetlana Semenkova, a former student of Dmitry Bashkirov, in Voronezh, Russia. His first significant success was the Grand Prize at the Shostakovich International Piano Competition for Youth in Moscow in 2010, which led him to debut with a symphony orchestra at the age of 11. He later studied at The Purcell School in London and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music on a full ABRSM scholarship with Petras Geniušas. Additionally, Lukinov has attended masterclasses with the likes of András Schiff, Klaus Hellwig, Dmitry Bashkirov, Dmitry Alexeev, Steven Osborne, Kirill Gerstein, Olga Kern, Noriko Ogawa, J-F. Bavouzet, Vladimir Viardo, Dang Thai Son, Aaron Shorr, and Yaron Kohlberg.
