About Ignasi Cambra
Ignasi Cambra is a renowned Spanish pianist in the music industry, with an impressive career and impeccable reputation. He has performed on some of the world’s most important stages, such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, receiving accolades from Valery Gergiev for his ability to convey emotions through the piano.
In addition, he has collaborated closely with pianist Maria Joao Pires and has worked with various symphony orchestras and prestigious conductors. In Spain, he has performed on numerous occasions in venues such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and the Juan March Foundation in Madrid, among others.
Ignasi Cambra also has a solid academic background, having studied with some of the best piano teachers at institutions such as the Juilliard School, the University of Indiana, and the Royal Academy of Music in London. In addition, he holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School.
In summary, Ignasi Cambra is a highly talented and experienced musician, internationally recognized and admired for his ability to move audiences through his music.
Lluís Trullén is a prominent figure in the world of music criticism in Spain. He holds a degree in Art History from the University of Barcelona and also studied piano at the Liceu Conservatory and the Ángel Soler Academy. He began his career as a music critic at the newspaper “ABC” in October 1988 and since then has continuously collaborated with various written publications such as “CD Compact,” “Ópera Actual,” “Montsalvat,” “Amadeus,” “Revista Musical Catalana,” “El Punt Diari,” and “La Vanguardia.” He has also participated in radio programs on RNE Ràdio 4 with Josep Maria Monegal.
Trullén has collaborated with numerous music festivals, especially with the one in Torroella de Montgrí under the direction of Josep Lloret. He has worked with music organizations such as Joventuts Musicals de Barcelona and has been a member of the jury in music competitions. In addition, he taught the Postgraduate Course in Opera at Elisava (Pompeu Fabra University) for ten years and gives various lecture cycles dedicated mainly to the piano.
With his extensive musical knowledge and critical analytical skills, Lluís Trullén has become an important voice in the Spanish music scene.
